What the Marc Jacobs bag range looks like in 2026

The styles on the US site are split into named families, not one wall of leather. The navigation comes to 312 styles in all across The Tote Bag, The Snapshot, The Scene, Crossbody Bags, Mini Bags, Shoulder Bags and Totes. On 1 September 2026, ownership moved — WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group bought the brand from LVMH, and Marc Jacobs is staying on as Founder and marc jacobs bag sale Creative Director. The site labels every price “SALE PRICE,” including full-price stock, which is a catch to remember, because a bag is only truly reduced when a “REGULAR PRICE” appears beside it. The numbers here are US dollars on marcjacobs.com in the US as of September 2026, and they move by country and change without notice. Search traffic lands here from “marc jacob,” but the label is Marc Jacobs, plural.

The Tote Bag

Drawn from archival designs, the flagship family launched in 2019, and it covers 105 styles at present. On positioning, the brand attributes to Jacobs the framing line “No more Birkins, only Tote Bags”, which makes the point. A wide rectangle with rounded top handles is the shape, with the name in oversized block letters, debossed on leather and closed by a top zip. In cotton canvas, The Canvas Medium runs 13in by 6in by 11in, with one interior zip pocket and two slip pockets. The Canvas Large does not include the removable adjustable webbing strap that Crossbody, Small and Medium carry, which is a detail that catches buyers out. Canvas arrives at about $150, $178, $198 and $228 by size, jacquard at about $325 and $350, and full-grain leather at about $398, $498 and $598. The cheapest route to a recognizable marc jacobs handbag is this line, so students and commuters land here first.

The Snapshot

Most people picture this bag when they hear the name, and thirty styles fill the family. The brand says the bag was conceived in a Parisian studio, shaped after a camera bag, and debuted on the runway. Small and boxy at 7in by 2in by 4in, it carries tricolor colorblocking and the signature double-J hardware. A 27in drop on the removable webbing strap, Saffiano leather with a faille lining and a dual top zipper rather than a flap cover the build. Core styles run about $325 to $328, including the Snapshot DTM and the Colorblock Chain Snapshot, while the Vintage Floral version and Snapshot E/W Shoulder Bag sit near $358. If you carry a phone, cards and a lipstick and wants the bag noticed, this suits.

The Scene

The Scene is the newest family to win its own place in the navigation, and it counts 70 styles. Small, Medium and Large Shoulder Bags, two Buckets, a Convertible Mini, a Chain Mini and a Wallet on Chain make it a group rather than a shape. Materials stretch to leather, crinkle leather, suede and denim, the widest spread of any line here. Carry is on the shoulder, or on a slim metal chain for the chain versions, so these are not top-handle bags. At $198 for the Scene Convertible Mini Bag and $228 for the Scene Wallet on Chain, the band starts. Above that sit the Scene Small Shoulder Bag at $298 and the Scene Small Bucket at $358, topping out near $698 for the Scene Large Shoulder Bag. It suits a buyer who wants something softer and far less logo-forward than the Tote.

The Sack Bag

The Sack Bag arrived on the 2022 runway as what the brand calls a slouchy throw-over-your-shoulder silhouette in premium leather. Keeping a rectangle is not the idea, since it collapses against the body. As the reference version, The Belted Sack Bag arrives in full-grain leather with a magnetic closure, an adjustable belted shoulder strap, an internal zip pocket, cotton twill lining and a 12in handle drop. The line starts at The Micro Crossbody Sack Bag near $198, passes the Small Belted Sack Bag around $298 and reaches $498. Seasonally, bow-detailed denim and nylon show at roughly $258 and $358, alongside leopard nylon and canvas cargo versions near $398. Quicker than a zip, and less secure, a magnet fits people who hate hardware fuss better than crowded transit.

The Dual Bag

A famous story and a thin shelf: The Dual Bag has the most public origin story here and the thinnest current shelf presence. Dua Lipa paired it with her look at the 2024 Met Gala after-party, where the brand says it first drew attention after its Fall ’23 runway debut. Emily Ratajkowski herself anchored the Spring 2025 campaign with it, and Doja Cat led its return in Summer 2025. It turns up mainly in the MARCDOWN sale section rather than the main assortment as of 29 September 2026. A rare case here: The Large Dual Bag was listed around $297 against a regular price of about $495, with both prices on display. It works for a shopper who liked the campaign imagery and will buy from what remains rather than a full color run.

The structured totes — Cristina, Dakota, Babe and Pop J Marc

Beyond The Tote Bag, the site keeps two more groups: a Totes category of 47 structured styles and a Shoulder Bags category of 80. These leather bags keep their shape, which the soft canvas carryalls do not. The Cristina Tote comes in near $398, with The Grommet Charm Cristina Tote around $658, filed under Shoulder Bags because it gets carried that way. The priciest bag in the Totes category is The Dakota Tote at about $798. Babe covers three points, from the Babe Mini Vanity Bag near $178 through the Babe Mini Top Handle at roughly $298 to the Babe City Tote around $598. About $398 covers the Pop J Marc Work Tote, with a Small Work Tote near $298, and these are the marc jacobs bags for a working week.

Heaven by Marc Jacobs

Launched in September 2020 and art-directed from the start by Ava Nirui, Heaven is the youth-facing sub-label. As the brand tells it, it is a gateway into the sprawling and enigmatic omniverse of Marc Jacobs subversion. Across its 153 products, tees open from around $65, with bags between roughly $150 and $250. The cheapest way into a marc jacobs bag outside the canvas Tote is therefore Heaven. Among current stock is a David Rappeneau Shoulder Bag near $175, an artist name carried on the product itself. Nirui’s exit was reported in January 2026 with no successor named, so Heaven’s creative direction now is not brand-confirmed.

All the lines, side by side

The table places each current family against its shape, its materials and the US price band shown on 29 September 2026. Across sizes and fabrications, the bands are ranges, not one price for one bag. The top belongs to leather and the largest Scene styles, and the bottom to canvas and Heaven. Price tracks material more than size: the same medium Tote is about $198 in canvas and $498 in leather. In the Dual Bag row the figure is a markdown, not a standing price. The figures are all US dollars on marcjacobs.com, vary by country and currency, and change without notice.

Lines people search for that the US site no longer sells

Searched constantly, four names end in disappointment on the US site. Search for the J Marc shoulder bag or saddle bag and you get jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, ready-to-wear and the Pop J Marc Work Tote instead, since neither is currently sold. Only a handful of Canal St apparel items come back from a search for The St. Marc, which is not in the current assortment either. The Duffle is absent too, and no duffle bag shows in the results for that term. Fourth on the list is a Monogram tote, since the current canvas totes are plain cotton canvas with block-letter branding. Stay skeptical of sellers offering them as new stock, and treat all four as archive names rather than current marc jacobs bag lines. Only items bought from an authorized vendor, with proof of purchase, come under the one-year manufacturing-defect warranty.
